  1. Michael Patrick says:

Hi Travis this is Michael Patrick, the winner of the glowstick 5k this year. We spoke right after the race, about ump coming events. I just would like to be sure of a couple of things. I would like to ask if this umpcoming race on the 17th is a usatf certified course, and usatf sanctioned? Reason I am asking is because I briefed you at glowstick that I am looking to qualify for the USA 1 mile road championship spring 2014. Brian Brown of USATF is the coordinator of this event and I’m sure the course and event has to be certified and sanction in order for him to respect and consider my time. Lastly, I would like to make sure there is a 1 mile marker because my mile time is what im manly conserved about as that is what will qualify me for the event. Thank you Travis and talk to you soon.

    • The race is USATF certified and sanctioned… I have had a few volunteers back out so I’m not sure if I will be free to be along the course to get your 1-mile time like we spoke about.
