Some current dogs/puppies who are available for adoption will be on-site as well as Adoption Option Dog Rescue, Inc. alumni dogs!
Adoption Option Dog Rescue Inc. is a non-profit, foster-based rescue striving to decrease the number of dogs in shelters. Adoption Option pulls unwanted dogs from owners, pounds, or other rescues and provides them with all needed medical care in loving, family-centered environments, before searching for adoptive families and forever homes. Adoption Option Dog Rescue Inc will pull adult dogs, puppies, pregnant moms, and nursing moms. Adoption Option will also rehabilitate and train dogs who were previously abused and neglected. Adoption Option Dog Rescue also seeks to involve community members in rescue efforts through volunteer opportunities while also educating citizens and adopters about how to best care for their pets.
Walkers and strollers are welcome to attend this event as well.
Now offering a virtual run option for those who cannot make it on race day. You will receive a medal.
We will have a special K9 division for our top finishers as well!

5k – $25, until May 31 ($30)
10k – $40, until May 31 ($45)
T-shirts guaranteed to runners registered before May 29. We will order extra t-shirts for those who register after that date, but it is on a first-come first-served basis.
Packet Pickup
At the event (one hour before the race starts).
Race Day Registration
There will be race day registration. Participants will need to arrive around 45 minutes before the race to get registered for the event. T-shirts sizes can not be guaranteed for race day registers.
Directions to Parking
The race starts and ends in Black Hill Regional Park (20930 Lake Ridge Drive, Boyds, Maryland 20841). Parking is within the park.
