In partnership with the Organization for Autism Research.

Ready for a great race for a great charity?  It is one of the best race courses around.  The entire run is around the peninsula, overlooking Monroe Bay and the Potomac River.  This 5k benefits the Organization for Autism Research.  After the race, don’t forget to stay and enjoy the wonderful Colonial Beach Blues Festival that opens its gates at noon.

Now offering a virtual run option for those who cannot make it on race day.  You will receive a medal and have an option to buy an event shirt as well.

Race Start Times

5k – 10am

Registration Fees

5k – $25, until May 31 ($30)

T-shirts guaranteed to runners registered before June 10.  We will order extra t-shirts for those who register after that date, but it is on a first-come first-served basis.

Housing for the Event

River Terra Retreat is the event-friendly B&B in Colonial Beach, VA.  Spacious rooms, fenced grounds, delicious food, and genuine hospitality.  Ideal for event participants and guests – nestled in a quite neighborhood overlooking the Potomac, just minutes from the center of town and the event action.  Large garage in fenced property to secure bikes, kayaks, or jet skis. Packet Pickup

Race Morning.  If packet pickup is available before the race, we will notify the registered runners of the change.

Race Day Registration

There will be race day registration.  Participants will need to arrive 45 minutes before their race to get registered for the event. T-shirts sizes can not be guaranteed for race day registers.  CASH OR CHECK ONLY (checks made out to Bishop’s Events).

Directions to Parking

There are several parking lots for parking near the Start/Finish Line.  The race begins on the boardwalk near Boundary Street.  Use High Tides on the Potomac’s address as a guide (205 Taylor Street, Colonial Beach, VA 22443)
