Looking for a scenic race in October that benefits a great cause? How about this 5k & 10k for the Wounded Warrior Project. The races are an out-and-back along the Washington & Old Dominion Trail. A scenic, smooth path… good for setting a personal best time, or just going out for a light jog with some friends!
Now offering a virtual run option for those who cannot make it on race day. You will receive a medal and have an option to buy an event shirt as well.
Race Start Times
10k – 8am
5k – 9am
Registration Fees
5k – $25, until August 31 ($30)
10k – $40, until August 31 ($45)
T-shirts guaranteed to runners registered before September 23. We will order extra t-shirts for those who register after that date, but it is on a first-come first-served basis.

Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup will be at Road Runner Sports on Saturday, October 4th from 12-2pm. Road Runner Sports is located at 46220 Potomac Run Plaza, Sterling, VA 20164. Athletes are expected to pick up their packets. Email BishopsEvents@yahoo.com with any questions.
Race Day Registration
There will be race day registration. Participants will need to arrive about 45 minutes before their race to get registered for the event. T-shirts sizes can not be guaranteed for race day registers. CASH OR CHECK ONLY (checks made out to Bishop’s Events, LLC).
Directions to Parking
The race starts and ends near Frederick Douglass Elementary School (510 Principal Drummond SE, Leesburg, VA 20175). Parking will be allowed at the elementary school.
