Don has been running since he was old enough to lace up sneakers! He wasn’t one for organized sports, but was always running all the time and constantly looking for someone to race against. Not much has changed! Don completes about on race per month and  has completed 16 races with Bishop’s Events. He enjoys our events because of the charities involved. When he was younger, he dreamed of being a world class runner and competing and winning Olympic gold. Today, he sees his biggest accomplishment as “still being able to run and compete with my history of back and neck surgeries. I even had a surgeon who operated on my neck advise me not to run anymore after the surgery, he said “Haven’t you run enough races?” that was 22 years ago!” To Don, running serves as “an outlet for stress relief, creativity and a barometer for good health.”
