This will be a battle of the charities!  The competition will take place on two parts (beginning in 2018):

1) Social Media: Each charity will have a graphic posted on Bishop’s Event’s Facebook page.  The charity who gets the greatest number of people to like their graphic AND Bishop’s Events facebook page wins $200.  Your charity can share the graphic as many times as you want, but it is the original post on the Bishop’s Events page that counts towards the competition’s likes.

2) Event Day (the serious competition for 25% of event profits): On race day, competing charities will have booths set up to promote votes towards their charity. Each runner will receive a voting ticket with their registration, but will also be able to purchase additional tickets on site. The charity with the most votes will receive the portion of the event profits. However, just for having a booth on race day each charity will receive $100!
Introducing a new Kids 1-Miler option!  There’s also an option during registration for adults to add on a technical t-shirt (at $11) to their order.

Walkers, strollers and leashed pets are welcome to attend this event.

Now offering a virtual run option for those who cannot make it on race day.  You will receive a medal.
