This event is an in-person race and all waves will be under a 50-person limit. We will send more wave info out the day before the race, as needed. Limited t-shirts will be available for those who register within 12 days of the race. We encourage participants to bring their own water. Masks are appreciated during check-in, but are not expected during the race.
Points count towards our Year-Long 5k, 10k, Endurance, & Back of the Pack Series. Points will also count towards our Summer Series. Find more info about the series here.

Come out and enjoy this scenic half-marathon, 10k and 5k near Richmond. These courses will lead you through the scenic area of Pocahontas State Park.
Walkers and strollers are welcome to attend this event.
Now offering a virtual run option for those who cannot make it on race day. You will receive a medal.

Race Start Times
Half – 7:30am
10k – 8am
5k – 8am
5k – $30, until June 30 ($35)
10k – $50, until June 30 ($55)
Half – $65, until June 30 ($70)
T-shirts guaranteed to runners registered before July 1. We will order extra t-shirts for those who register after that date, but it is on a first-come first-served basis.

All three courses are along the Bright Hope Trail.
– 5k is an USATF certified out-and-back.
– 10k is an USATF certified out-and-back.
– Half is two laps of the 10k with a detour at the beginning to get the extra 0.7 miles.
At the event (one hour before the race starts)
Race Day Registration
There will be race day registration. Participants will need to arrive around 45 minutes before the race to get registered for the event. T-shirts sizes can not be guaranteed for race day registers.
