2020 Vets on Track 5k & 10k

This event is an in-person race and all waves will be under a 50-person limit. We will send more wave info out the day before the race, as needed. Limited t-shirts will be available for those who register within 12 days of the race. We encourage participants to bring their own water. Masks are appreciated during check-in, but are not expected during the race.

Points count towards our Year-Long 5k, 10k, & Back of the Pack Series.  Points will also count towards our Fall Series.  Find more info about the series here.

In partnership with Vets on Track.  Their mission is to ensure that every veteran and first responder transitioning into permanent housing from living on the streets has the necessary furniture and household accessories to transform their new house into a “home.”

Come out and enjoy this scenic  5k/10k through the trails of Lake Accotink Park.

Walkers and strollers are welcome to attend this event.

Now offering a virtual run option for those who cannot make it on race day.  You will receive a medal.

 

Race Start Times

10k – 8:45am

5k – 9am

 

Registration Fees

5k – $25, until Sept 15 ($30)

10k – $40, until Sept 15 ($45)

T-shirts guaranteed to runners registered before Sept 23.  We will order extra t-shirts for those who register after that date, but it is on a first-come first-served basis.

5k & 10k are both on the North Side of the Lake.

At the event (one hour before the race starts).

 

Race Day Registration

There will be race day registration. Participants will need to arrive around 45 minutes before the race to get registered for the event. T-shirts sizes can not be guaranteed for race day registers.
