Join us at the 20th Anniversary Butterfly 5K Run & Walk benefiting Blue Ridge Hospice! Bring your family and invite your friends for a fun fall themed morning with fun activities including a mini farmers market, a thrift shop pop-up shop, and fall themed crafts for kids.

Run to honor your hero – whether that’s a loved one you’ve lost, a healthcare worker, a veteran, or someone you admire for any other reason. At the run, there will be opportunities to commemorate your heroes in meaningful ways.

While you are running or walking, your family and friends will have plenty of fun fall themed activities to enjoy while they wait to cheer your on at the finish line. We’re offering an outdoor yoga class (and another one for runners post-run!), a mini farmers market with delicious and fun goodies and treats, a thrift store pop-up shop, and kids’ activities including pumpkin crafts and face painting.

Blandy Experimental Farm is a 700-acre research field station for the University of Virginia, and home to the State Arboretum of Virginia. The RRCA Certified 5K trail winds through Blandy’s beautiful scenic grounds, showcasing Virginia native trees, shrubs, and wildflowers.

Runners and walkers (5K) receive

Technical (Drifit) Event Shirt, a Chip-Timed Event, RRCA Certified 5K, Category Winner Medals and Prizes, a Post-Run Outdoor Yoga Class, free food pre- and post-run!
