Charity Information

Here at the Ruyts Foundation of Veteran Suicide Prevention, our mission is to bring awareness to veteran suicide and help stop it from even taking place. We must stand together and put an end to veteran suicide, soldier, and military family suicide. A recent study shows our veteran suicide rate is actually 2.4% higher than the VA estimates, the new rate is roughly 40-44 veterans that die per day by suicide and self harm injury. Our 3rd quarter DoD numbers show we are losing roughly 9-10 active, reserve, and national guards members each day by suicide. We have to bring these number down. While one person may not make a difference, we believe those that band together can and will! Suicide needs to become a thing of the past! Our heroes have fought for us, now it’s time we help our heroes fight the battles they can no longer fight alone!

Vets Retreat Virginias:
