Charity Information
This year, we will support two nonprofits doing meaningful work supporting the community. All proceeds will be divided and donated to Loudoun Caregivers and Step Sisters. By participating in our event, nonprofits make a tangible difference in the lives of those they serve. By joining this year’s Turkey Trot, you’ll enjoy a great run and help these amazing organizations continue their incredible work supporting families and individuals within our community.
Loudoun Caregivers
Loudoun Caregivers is dedicated to supporting those who provide care for loved ones in need due to aging, illness, or disability. They offer vital resources, respite care, and education to ensure that caregivers in our community are empowered and supported in their challenging roles.
Step Sisters
Step Sisters is a local nonprofit committed to improving the quality of life for breast cancer patients. They focus on providing practical support services such as transportation, meals, and housecleaning to women undergoing treatment.

Course Map
From Potomac Club head towards circle on Riverpoint to Upper Belmont, bear right down the hill (Upper Belmont Place) past Riverside HS, bear right at the circle, down the hill and circle the entire conference center perimeter, and turn left on Charlena Beth Drive, past the football field and bear right at the Circle and up the hill (upper Belmont) to the circle and Left onto Riverpoint for the homestretch, which is relatively flat, to the Potomac Club.
Live Race Results
Live results will be posted on Athlinks.com. Additionally, there will be a QR code at the race for you to scan to immediately view your results. Final race results with series points will be posted to our website on the Monday following your race.
Runner tracking is now available when you sign up for a race with Bishop’s Events. Click on the green SMS button (see example below) at the end of your registration and have your race updates sent to your mobile device as well as those of your friends & family so they can track your race progress.

Packet Pickup
Race packet pickup will be from 9 am – 6 pm on Monday, November 25, and Tuesday, November 26, and from 9 am-2 pm on Wednesday, November 27, at the Potomac Club 43459 Riverpoint Drive, Lansdowne, VA 20176. Please plan to pick up your race packets in advance to ensure enough time for all participants to make it to the start on time on Thanksgiving morning.
Race Day Registration
Will be available at the Potomac Club entrance from 7:30 am – 8:30 am.
Restrooms
A port-a-potty will be available on race day.
Volunteers
Volunteers should arrive at 7 am at the Potomac Club entrance. We will assign volunteer tasks on race morning. You can find parking information under “Directions to Parking” with a latitude and longitude pin for where to meet.
Weather Policy
We are an all-weather race company (rain or shine or sleet or snow). We will email registered runners and post on social media if the race is cancelled, but this is quite rare, otherwise assume the race is taking place as scheduled.
Weekly weather reports are posted on the Thursday before race weekends on our Facebook page by Chad Merrill with the Hagerstown Almanack. Race officials may delay, change or postpone the event due to weather conditions. All registered runners will be notified via email of any changes. In most cases, a decision is not made until the night before the race, and a decision could come as late as the morning of the event.

Directions to Parking
The races will start and finish in front of the Potomac Club at Lansdowne on the Potomac 43459 Riverpoint Drive, Landsdowne, VA 20176.
Curbside parking is available throughout Lansdowne in the Potomac neighborhood, in the open parking lot at the Potomac Club, and in the outdoor swimming pool parking lot on Coton Farm Court. Road closures will be in effect along the race route before and shortly after. Please see the race route below and plan accordingly.
No parking is permitted on Riverside Parkway or at any of the area Loudoun County Schools. Please refrain from parking in resident-designated parking areas, i.e., Townhouse parking.
