Prince William Half Marathon Course MapThe Prince William Half Marathon course is used for 3 races in 2017:

6/11/2017 – Run for the Wounded 5k & Half Race #1

7/30/2017 – Freedom Fighters 5k & Half

11/26/2017 – Run for the Wounded 5k & Half Race #2

The course is a 13.1 miles long through the scenic paved roads at Prince William Forest Park (about 1.5 miles is on a gravel/sand road).

The course has been USATF approved for a half-marathon distance.

      Yes, you can, the course is mostly on paved road, but there is a trail/gravel service road portion.

    Packet pick up is an hour before the race.... I am registered for the half, does this mean I can pick up my packet an hour before the half starts? Or do I need to pick it up an hour before the 5K?

    Love this course! To anyone on the fence - you'll have a real sense of accomplishment when you finish. Hoping I can bounce back from an injury to hop in the 11/26 race (for a fourth appearance).
