We couldn’t be more grateful to have the Lasher’s as a part off our Bishop’s Events family! Charles and Hannah discovered their interest in running at a school fun run event a few years ago, and it didn’t take long for David to join the fun. Now, David and Hannah are leading the 5K Back of the Back and Girl’s 1-Miler series competition, while Charles, at only 10 years old, is competing in the Men’s 5K series.
Hannah’s dream race is a 5K alongside her dad and brother. David has a goal to do one of our 10k’s someday while Charles aspires to do the triathlon in the Olympics.
David shares that running “has allowed me the opportunity to travel with my family, to a variety locations all over the greater Washington D.C. area, and experience scenic courses along the way.” Some of their favorite running memories include taking on three Bishop’s Events races in one weekend this summer and running on the runway at the Manassas Regional Airport. Both Charles and Hannah spoke about how running has brought out their competitive sides. After the racing, the Lashers typically enjoy a breakfast together, where Charles’ vote is always for french toast at IHOP.
