This 5K and 1 mile Fun run promotes and models healthy living for our children as well as showcases our running club members. Additionally, it is a PTO fundraiser with a specific goal to raise funds allocated for educational resources and enrichment programs for Mountain View students.

Registration Fees
1 mile – $20, until April 5 ($30, April 6 – 27)
5k – $35, until April 5 ($40, April 6 – 27)
For the Family 4 pack: When registering, please make sure to choose the “Family 4-Pack”. Families will need to choose a team captain to pay the full cost, and then additional family members can be added to the team at $0 cost. Upon the team captain completing their registration, they will be given the opportunity to “Create a new team” to which they can add family members. Each family 4 pack allows a family to add 2 adults (18 & above) + 2 children (1 – 17).

Live Race Results
Live results will be posted on Athlinks.com. Additionally, there will be a QR code at the race for you to scan to immediately view your results. Final race results with series points will be posted to our website on the Monday following your race.
Awards
We award the top 3 men and women overall during our awards ceremony post-race. We also award the 1st, 2nd, 3rd Male and Female in these categories: 18 and over, Age 10-17, and 9 and under. Runners who place top 3 overall in their race are not eligible to also win their age groups.

We will post any photos taken by staff on our Facebook page by Tuesday after the event.

Packet Pickup
April 26th, 2024, 5 – 7 pm, 14651 Piedmont Vista Drive, Haymarket, VA 20169
Packet pickup is also available the morning of the event. We recommend arriving one hour before your event start time to check-in.
Race Day Registration
There will be race day registration. Participants will need to arrive approximately one hour before the race to register for the event. T-shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed for race day registers.
Water Stations
Two water stations will be along the 5k course at approximately mile markers 0.5 & 2.4. Gatorade will be available at some water stations. Water stations are subject to change as deemed necessary.
Weather Policy
We are an all-weather race company (rain or shine or sleet or snow). We will email registered runners and post on social media if the race is cancelled, but this is quite rare, otherwise assume the race is taking place as scheduled.
Weekly weather reports are posted on the Thursday before race weekends on our Facebook page by Chad Merrill with the Hagerstown Almanack. Race officials may delay, change or postpone the event due to weather conditions. All registered runners will be notified via email of any changes. In most cases, a decision is not made until the night before the race, and a decision could come as late as the morning of the event.
