Prince William Forest Park
Tired of running the same trails? Come out and try this new race at Prince William Forest Park. The race winds through the service roads and trails of one of the most beautiful parks across the country. You’ll enjoy racing against the clock, your friends, your family, or just your will!
The cause:
We are raising money for the Monroe family. When Lauren was killed in an automobile accident last November, she left behind her husband, three children and a niece who had become incorporated into their nuclear family. Lauren’s youngest child is mentally ill and currently in a group home away from the family. There are extra expenses associated with the youngest child, and the loss of one income is significant. While we can’t return wife and mother, we can help with the financial well being of the family.
So whatever your motivation – raising funds for this worthy cause, a new PR, or a walk with friends – please join us in memorializing an amazing woman. Wife, mom, nurse, friend…Lauren did it all with humor and love. Carry her in your heart on this day and we promise it will be lighter!
Now offering a virtual run option for those who cannot make it on race day. You will receive a medal and have an option to buy an event shirt as well.

5k – 9am
Registration Fees
5k – $25, until June 30 ($30)
T-shirts guaranteed to runners registered before July 15. We will order extra t-shirts for those who register after that date, but it is on a first-come first-served basis.

Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup will be at Road Runner Sports on Thursday, July 24th from 5-7pm. Road Runner Sports is located at 1120 W Broad Street, Falls Church, VA 22046. Athletes are expected to pick up their packet at Road Runner Sports. If you cannot make it, let Travis Bishop know at BishopsEvents@yahoo.com and we can easily arrange for you to pick up your packet on race morning.
Race Day Registration
There will be race day registration. Participants will need to arrive about 45 minutes before their race to get registered for the event. T-shirts sizes can not be guaranteed for race day registers. CASH OR CHECK ONLY (checks made out to Bishop’s Events, LLC).
Directions to Parking
Parking is at Pine Grove parking lot right near the Start/Finish Line (close to the Visitor’s Center).
